MAKE-IT-BE: DECISION MAKING AND IMPLEMENTATION TOOLS FOR DELIVERY OF LOCAL & REGIONAL BIO-ENERGY CHAINS

Make It Be is a European collaboration between partners in Austria, Italy, Scotland and Slovenia.

The overall aim is to develop the processes for integrated bio-energy supply chains for the partner regions and tools for other regions to emulate the processes identified by Make It Be.

In Highland Scotland Highland Birchwood will work with the stakeholders in the woodfuel industry to create a renewable Bio-energy Partnership (RBP) and a Regional Biomass Action Plan for the Highlands.

The first output from this process, an analysis of the barriers and constraints to the development of the biomass industry in the Highlands can be found here.
